بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Dengan menyebut nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.
(By God`s Name, the Merciful, the Merciful/Most Merciful)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan semesta alam.
(The gratitude/thanks/praise to God, the creation`s altogether`s/(universe`s) Lord.)

|
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.
(The merciful, the merciful/most merciful.)
| 3 |
|
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Yang menguasai di Hari Pembalasan.
(Owner/possessor (of) the Judgment Day/Resurrection Day)
| 4 |
|
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Hanya Engkaulah yang kami sembah, dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami meminta pertolongan.
((Only) You we worship, and (only) You we seek help from)
| 5 |
|
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Tunjukilah kami jalan yang lurus,
(Guide us (to) the way/road, the straight/direct)
| 6 |
|
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
(yaitu) Jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri nikmat kepada mereka;
bukan (jalan) mereka yang dimurkai dan bukan (pula jalan) mereka yang
sesat.
((The) way/road (of) those You blessed on them, not (those) the angered on them, and nor the misguided)
